ROBOTICS LAB

Robotics Lab at Soikholal Ideal High School

Empowering Future Innovators Through Hands-On Technology

At Soikholal Ideal High School, we believe in preparing students for the future by equipping them with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive in a rapidly advancing world. Our Robotics Lab is a testament to this vision—a vibrant, hands-on learning space where imagination meets innovation.

The lab is specially designed for students from Classes 5 to 10, providing them with opportunities to explore the fascinating world of robotics, electronics, and coding through structured lessons, guided experimentation, and collaborative projects. With the support of Quad Robotics kits, students learn to assemble, program, and troubleshoot their own robotic systems using components such as:

  • Input Modules: push buttons, infrared sensors, photoresistors, tilt switches, motion detectors, and more.

  • Output Modules: LEDs, buzzers, DC motors, and water pumps.

  • Core Components: jumper wires, circuit boards, battery holders, and chassis kits.

Our Robotics curriculum blends theory and practice, helping students understand not just how things work, but why they work that way. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving, teamwork, design thinking, and real-world application.

Students work on projects that span basic automation to interactive models, gradually building their understanding of circuit design, input-output control, logic operations, and programming fundamentals. The goal is not only to teach robotics but to cultivate confidence, curiosity, and creativity.

Whether building a line-following robot or experimenting with environmental sensors, our students are challenged to think critically, experiment boldly, and grow as young innovators.
