At Soikholal Ideal High School, we proudly implement the Montessori Method of teaching in our Kindergarten Section, ensuring a nurturing and child-centered environment that supports holistic early development. Rooted in the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, our approach emphasizes self-directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play.

Dedicated Montessori Learning Spaces

We have set up a well-equipped Montessori Room with an array of carefully selected materials designed to stimulate a child’s curiosity and natural desire to learn. Each material has a specific purpose, encouraging children to explore and discover through touch, observation, and trial.

Play Room & Movement-Based Learning

Recognizing the importance of movement in early development, we also provide a Play Room dedicated to physical activities. Children engage in exercises that develop both gross motor skills (like running, climbing, balancing) and fine motor skills (like threading beads, picking objects with tweezers, or building sequences). These activities not only strengthen muscles but also enhance coordination, concentration, and confidence.

Montessori Kits and Tools for Learning

Our classrooms are equipped with a variety of Montessori toy kits and learning aids that include:

  • Puppets for storytelling and imaginative thinking

  • Sequencing tools to develop cognitive order and logical reasoning

  • Sensorial materials that refine senses and understanding of size, shape, texture, and color

  • Practical life tools to build independence, responsibility, and care for the environment
