Physical Education: Strengthening Body and Mind
“Every child an athlete in their own way.”
At Soikholal Ideal High School, Physical Education (PE) is an integral part of our curriculum, aimed at promoting fitness, discipline, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among students. Our structured PE program runs across all grades, with age-appropriate activities that develop strength, stamina, flexibility, and coordination.
From foundational exercises and fun games for younger students to organized sports and drills for older classes, we ensure that every child participates and stays active. Our curriculum includes athletics, team sports, yoga, and rhythmic exercises—cultivating both individual skills and team spirit.
More than just physical fitness, our PE curriculum focuses on:
Building self-confidence and resilience
Instilling sportsmanship and fair play
Encouraging leadership and collaboration
Teaching the value of consistent practice and effort
With regular classes, inter-house competitions, and our annual sports week IGNITE, we ensure that physical education is not just a subject—but a way of life at our school.
