Music Lab: Nurturing Creativity Through Sound

The Music Lab at Soikholal Ideal High School is a dedicated space where students explore the joy of music and unlock their creative potential. Equipped with a variety of instruments such as ukuleles, guitars, keyboards, flutes (recorders), and drums, the lab offers students hands-on experience in playing, composing, and appreciating music.

Music is not just a co-curricular activity in our school—it is a valued subject taught as part of the curriculum. Students learn the fundamentals of rhythm, melody, harmony, and vocal techniques, while also gaining exposure to musical theory and performance skills.

The Music Lab helps students:

• Develop listening and coordination skills

• Build confidence and stage presence

• Express themselves creatively and emotionally

• Work as a team in group performances

By engaging with music, students not only become better performers but also develop discipline, patience, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. The lab plays a key role in preparing students for events like our Musical Ensemble and other cultural programs.
